How do you mobilise business leadership to protect forests ahead of COP30 in Belém?
Race to Belém is a global campaign designed to accelerate private-sector leadership and investment in the protection of Brazilian forests ahead of COP30. Conceived as both a movement and a convening platform, the campaign reframes forests as critical economic infrastructure — central to climate stability, supply-chain resilience, and long-term growth.
The campaign launched in London at the Natural History Museum and was delivered through a series of high-level convenings across Davos, London, Abu Dhabi, São Paulo, New York, and Belém, bringing together business leaders, financiers, policymakers, Indigenous representatives, scientists, and cultural partners. Each moment was designed to build momentum, deepen understanding, and move participants from awareness to action.
Across locations, Race to Belém blended strategic dialogue with powerful storytelling, immersive production, and careful guest curation. Events were supported by aligned communications, content capture, and media engagement, ensuring the campaign travelled well beyond each room and built sustained visibility over time.
Together, these moments formed a six-month campaign culminating at COP30 in Belém creating a platform for partnerships, commitments, and long-term engagement around forest protection at scale.
